IWC Top Quality Ingenieur Chronograph IW380803 Top Replica
The Ingenieur Chronograph is powered by the IWC Ingenieur Automatic Replica-manufactured 69375-calibre movement with a bidirectional pawl-winding system and a 46-hour power reserve.Used in combination with the tachymeter scale, it also shows the average speed achieved over a measured distance of 1,000 metres. The transparent sapphire-glass back provides a view of the 69375-calibre movement in all models. This timepiece has a case made from 18-carat red gold, a slate-coloured dial, gold-plated hands and a black alligator leather strap.
IWC Ingenieur Automatic Replica
The dial of this Ingenieur is somewhat more sober than its predecessors, with that little textured “I” (Ingenieur) motif which gave it so much detail and depth. With this IWC Ingenieur benchmark 3239, the dial is more ‘plain’ but still has some layers. On the dial, there are two tracks (or ‘measures’), one for the minutes and one for the hours. The hour hand almost reaches the inner step and the second hand practically reaches the minute step. The flip side is a tad bit more and crosses the second track. A very well balanced dial and IWC clearly put some effort in getting this right. We’ve seen what the result can be if those things are done ‘incorrect’, like the second hand of this 39mm Rolex Explorer that’s simply too brief. The hour mark of the IWC Ingenieur reference 3239 matches the design of this silver coloured hands perfectly. The date disk is black with white printing and does not distract in any respect. The whole dial is merely very clean and there is only little writing on the dial. It doesn’t even say ‘Automatic’.
The newest Ingenieur will be accessible from #3,950 (approximately $4,900 at the time of publication) for the simplest model, to #15,750 (approximately $19,500 in the time of publication) for the most complicated. We’ll be getting our hands on such watches very soon and will be back with additional information on each model once that occurs. The IWC Ingenieur mention 3239 that I review here was introduced in 2013, IWC’s year of the Ingenieur. You have to know that IWC is restyling an entire collection, every year, to keep it clean and up-to-date. So in 2013, IWC introduced a number of new Ingenieur versions. From a simple straight-forward stainless steel model to a carbon variation and a platinum version with perpetual calendar. I have and have had my share of Gérald Genta designed timepieces, such as an IWC Ingenieur of a prior collection. I decided to trade that Ingenieur for another Genta designed timepiece from the other brands. But it had nothing to do with all the Ingenieur itself. I purchased that IWC Ingenieur 3227-01 at 2008, not long after it moved out of production.
